Safari Studio cookie notice
Version 2, effective 23 Oct 2026
This notice explains what Safari Studio, run by Virtues Media LLC, stores in your browser and why. It covers the website safari-studio.com and the application at app.safari-studio.com.
1. The website
The public pages of safari-studio.com set no cookies of their own, apart from the one that remembers your cookie choice. We count visits without cookies, and we measure our advertising with cookies only as described below.
- Visitor counts. We count page views on our own server, per page and per day, with the referring site and the campaign name of the link (utm_source). No cookie, no identifier and no IP address is stored, and no third party is involved.
- Your billing period choice. When you switch the pricing between monthly, quarterly and annual, the choice is kept in your browser's local storage (
ss-period) so the page remembers it. It never leaves your browser. - The forms. For the length of your visit, your browser's session storage keeps the first page you opened, the campaign values of its link and, when you arrived from an advertisement, the click identifier in its link (
gclid, gbraid, wbraidorfbclid), together inss-visit. They are sent only if you send a form or start a subscription, so we know which advertisement or search brought the enquiry, and they are cleared when you close the tab. - Your cookie choice. When you choose in the cookie banner or on this page, the cookie
ss_consentkeeps the choice (alloressential) for six months, so we do not ask again. It holds nothing else. - Advertising measurement. When we run advertising campaigns on Google Ads or Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and only then, the website can load Google's and Meta's measurement tags. They tell those platforms that an advertisement led to a visit, a demo request, a trial sign-up or a subscription, so we can see which campaigns work and pay for the ones that do. Google sets
_gcl_auand_gcl_aw(90 days) and, through doubleclick.net,IDEandtest_cookie; Meta sets_fbp(90 days) and_fbc(90 days). In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland these tags load only after you choose "Accept" in the banner; elsewhere they load on our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising, and "Cookie settings" in the footer switches them off. While no campaign is configured, none of these cookies is set and no banner is shown. - Measurement without cookies. When you subscribe, we also tell Meta about the purchase from our server, with your email address hashed (SHA-256) so Meta can match it to an account you hold there, and with the Meta cookie values above if your browser had them. The same purchases and demo or trial requests can be uploaded to Google Ads as a file, keyed by the click identifier or by the hashed email address. Neither platform receives your name, company or card details from us.
2. Our back office
The back office at safari-studio.com/admin is for Safari Studio staff only. It sets a session cookie to keep them signed in and a cookie that protects its forms against cross-site requests. Both are strictly necessary and exist only under /admin.
3. The application
The application at app.safari-studio.com sets one session cookie to keep you signed in, and no advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Other services
- Stripe. When you pay or manage a subscription you are on Stripe's own pages, which set Stripe's cookies for security and fraud prevention. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Calendly. The demo booking calendar is Calendly's; it sets its own cookies inside the calendar. See Calendly's cookie notice.
- Google and Meta. The advertising measurement in section 1 is Google's and Meta's technology; their cookie and privacy notices explain how they use what their tags collect.
5. Your choices
Use "Cookie settings" in the footer, or the buttons below this notice, to accept or refuse the advertising measurement cookies at any time; the choice applies from the next page you open. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser's settings. The public pages work without them; the back office and the application need their session cookie to keep you signed in.
